Browser and display issues

We conduct automatic and manual testing on our websites to ensure we're as compliant with the latest website standards. We suggest you use one of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

Compliance Status

This website is generally compliant with with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. Non-compliances and exemptions are listed below.

  • 1x 4.1.2. Name, Role, Value - Button missing a text alternative
    • Within the modal that gets triggered on the 'Work Experience' page, there is a button that has been left without a text alternative. For screen readers, this is problematic because if they are wanting to add their work history to this page, they would be unable to ascertain what the role of this button is.
  • 5x 4.1.2. Name, Role, Value - Form field missing a label
    • Within the same modal, there are five instances whereby form fields have been left without labels. Just like the previous issue, users reliant upon screen readers won't be able to establish what the role of these form fields are and what input to add to them. This is due to the absence of the label that would provide them with the aforementioned context.

The 'Work Experience' page is fairly archaic in its design so in order for this issue to be resolved, both parties will need to agree upon a suitable date to resolve these issues on this page. When this has been done, these issues can be added to the development schedule so that they can be resolved in a future build.

Testing

We regularly carry out accessibility tests on our websites to make sure they are compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
